This policy covers the Global Takeoff Summit application portal at this site. It explains what we collect when you apply, how we use it, and who can see it.
When you apply, we collect the information you submit in the application form — your name, email address, firm or company name, and the other answers the form asks for. If you're applying as a Company Builder, we also collect the pitch deck you upload. If your application is approved and you pay to confirm your spot, payment is handled by Stripe; we don't collect or store your card details ourselves.
We also use a small cookie on this site to remember your application status link, so you don't have to look it up every time you check on it.
We use what you submit to review and evaluate your application, communicate with you about its status, and coordinate event logistics if you're confirmed to attend. Pitch decks are shared with the Global Takeoff Summit LP committee as part of the review process.
The Company Builder application includes a few partner questions from our summit sponsors, each labeled with the sponsor's name. Your answers to those questions, along with your name, firm, and email, are shared with that sponsor only. Nothing else from your application is shared with sponsors.
Application data is stored in a secured database accessible only to the event review team. Pitch decks are stored in a Google Drive account controlled by the event team. Status update emails are sent from that same account. We don't sell your information, and apart from the partner questions described above, we don't share it with anyone outside the review process.
We retain application information for as long as needed to run the current application cycle and, generally, prior cycles as well, so we can recognize returning applicants. You can ask us to delete your information at any time — see contact info below.
